LifeLine Response is a mobile app dedicated to preventing assaults by using a person’s natural reaction during an attack to get them help. In thumb mode, one of two safety modes, when a user’s thumb leave’s the phone’s screen, an alarm is triggered. When triggered, the phone becomes a personal alarm system emitting an ear-piercing sound and flashing, while authorities are en route, unless disarmed in time by entering the disarm code. There is a retail version available to the public and an enterprise version which makes it easy to manage the complex security needs of a community such as a campus. LifeLine Response is available on both iOS and Android phones. For enterprise versions, there is also a self-service portal that administrators can use to monitor their community.
